Danny, sorry I bailed out early but the old man was tired, all that swimming you know.

TA it was easy, you just have to make sure your watknot files have not been deleted, isn't that right Simon.

Danny, if I had a quid for every time I'd forgotten something, I'd be a very, VERY rich woman (and my husband would have his dream car again.....a Range Rover, which we used to have and had to sell as we could no longer afford to run a car which used virtually a gallon of fuel just getting to the end of our drive....big_laughcry).

Welcome back.....and you do a damn good job with this forum, so don't beat yourself up.

Chris suggested a Facebook CSH page, so we can all still keep in touch if 'things' happen again.....how about it?  (no I'm not volunteering to set one up, I am totally blonde when it comes to anything remotely techie embarassed.  I couldn't even access Facebook for hours and hours yesterday, for some inexplicable reason).

I've got some bloody cowboy now at the top of my page saying "Howdee Paperman", perhaps it is Dale Evans - wing of the west, finally left Roy Rogers and on her way to Suffolk. Think I am going to make myself another mug of tea and calm down.

Oh yes Chris, he's here at the top of my page too - "Howdy Sooliz" - that's awfully familiar from someone who doesn't know me big_laugh

And don't mention tea steam.....I can't have any for ages yet, as I'm having a scan at 11.20 and am not allowed to eat/drink anything for four hours beforehand eeek.....and am already suffering withdrawal symptoms.  Had to set the alarm to make sure I got up early enough to have at least one cuppa before the 4 hour deadline.

That damn cowboy (or girl) had also made (or is it maid) off with my unread posts drop down list and thanks TA, I see my colour editing ability has now gone west too.

Sooliz hope the scan all goes well. Well done getting up early to beat the deadline.

If Dale Evans comes over your way can you please send her back with my bits and pieces. Thanks.

(I reckon it is Danny in drag trying to dicombobulate us all!)

Danny, Danuta has just said on Facebook that she still can't access the forum - any ideas?

I think a CSH Facebook page is an excellent idea. We do have one somewhere but the details are lost in the mists of time. Will make it my Christmas holidays project.

Thanks for passing on the note about Danuta, Sue. It is just a matter of time before her ISP gets around to refreshing their nameservers that will then point to our new location.

I may pop her an email because there is a way to flush her PC/laptop to force a refresh, if that is the problem.

Still no luck with getting the editor toolbar back. Will have to call in the experts.

Hope you can live with the narrow width for a little longer. I don't have time today to delve into it.

Never knowingly underfed

You're doing a great job, Danny, we do appreciate it.  But you do have proper, paid work to do, you can't just sit here doing forum stuff all day! big_hug

I'll have to go on a diet to get in these new slim line columns.

Sue you are too young to remember Dale Evans, she was the female partner of Roy Rogers and was called 'the wing of the west' and Roy Rogers as all us oldies know was King of the Cowboys.

I wonder about The Lone Ranger and Tonto !!!

I have a cowboy too, how very familiar he is.

Sue, I hope that things can be finalised for you with the results of the scan.  Chin up my lovely!

Did someone say that the number of unread posts has gone?  I can see it on my screen, just under the 'watching' button.

No editing tools though.

I'll try that again!
