Morning Val,

I'm on the hunt for help once again! (What's new).

With regard to crocheting, a while back you posted a great site that showed beautifully crocheted & knitted blankets, throws, shawls with a step by step guide on how to produce, master the technique of the stitches, I have looked & looked and cannot find the link that you provided.

Please can I be a pain and ask you to provide the link again? star

Much appreciated,

Odelle. wave

Hi Odelle,

Not too sure which one you mean, BUT, if you go to the crochet thread (sorry for the pun!!), and go to page 7, and my post 98.

Also tips on 'how-to' crochet, try this site.

I have a feeling that the site with all the throws etc could be http://www.garnstudio.co.uk

or http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com

and for knitting

http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com

There is also http://www.ravelry.com - to become a member, it doesn't cost, the only thing is you have to remember your password!!  big_laugh   and that gets more tricky with time !!!!

Hope all this helps!smile

Thanks Val, it's the 'Garn Studio' I think, will have a look in a mo.

Well done for finding all those for me, I shall spend some time browsing, determined to 'master' crochet again.roll_eyes

I'm sure that you must have 'E.S.P', to know which site I meant, many thanks, much appreciated.  I shall make sure that I make note of the sites & not loose them......this time!

Ooh, I shall look forward to looking at all those, thank you.  You're a star star magic.

well not actually a slug, but I've now started on a amigurimi starfish, it said it was quick and easy, but it's not either, been at it for two evenings now and it's a pain in the backside, will stick a picture on when done. The only good thing I can say about it is it uses up wool odments.

Hi Jan, I found this little owl. I think he is very cute & I know owls are a popular items to buy. I thought it might be good for your stall.

There are lots of other interesting things in the blog, so have a poke around.  wavewave

Oh good, I'm so glad you like him. I was thinking how nice it would be if his wings were knitted in marled wool.  smile

It's a shame that her blog seems to be defunct since 2010.  I wonder what happened?

I'll try that again!
