It takes me about 6 months! I always start them as soon as I find out someone is pregnant and do a few rows each evening I am in. A labour of love!

It is crochet and having made about 6 of these so far I can do it without the pattern! It is very easy. I originally taught myself with a book how to do the stitches I needed for a cousins baby in 1986! It is therapeutic now and as I like to knit or crochet in the evenings whilst TV is on it suits as I don't have to concentrate on it once the pattern is established.
