Great idea Odelle, using the whole cloves of garlic in your roasted veg. I think that I'll do roasted veg tonight now!

Thanks Fiona for this recipe, I roasted large whole cloves of garlic(unpeeled) amongst my roasted veg that I'm enjoying at the moment, just popped them in topped tailed, skin on mixed them up approx.20mins before veg ready they are delicious, will try your French way next time.
My other half quite happily tucked into them, not realising they were garlic(I Didn't tell him), I said they were baby onions, why the skin left on? So they don't all break up! They're sweeter than the others, so he happily enjoyed our roasted garlic cloves! I came clean, told him afterwards...lol.
I just covered the veg in xtra virgin olive oil, S P,glug of balsamic, into oven, adding the garlic when almost cooked, they were a delight, if not a little messy popping the cloves out of their skins, part of the enjoyment.
