Hi Sylvie

This soup worked so well and was delicious during the long hot days. Now I'm going to heat it up for today as it's wet and chilly in East Anglia.

Hi Sam

Your soup sounds like a great twist on this one! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Fiona

I was reading through this while having a coffee brake from work. I work at home so have the luxury of being able to throw together some veg for a pan of soup.
Having been away this weekend I wondered what we could have for lunch. Reading your post I sprung into action: with one leek, a couple of onions a few potatoes, a few fresh chives and some sad looking shallots I produced a leek and onion soup.
I also had the remains of some cream from about a week ago and cooked it into the soup (is this officially sour cream?).
Wonderful!!
