waveStarted off pretty dull and dreary, but it has turned into a fairy pleasant afternoon with the wind totally dropping and the sun coming out occasionally.  smile   Better over this side of the country, Tina!

Mild, slight breeze and glimpses of sun and blue sky.  There must still be a lot of humidity in the air as the washing has been out all day and is still not fully dry.

It has been a horrible day today, dull and drizzly until about 4.30 when the sky and all around the area seemed to be suffused with a strange golden light which lasted until it got dark.  Most odd.

I'll try that again!

We left some lovely weather in our part of France, and last night approaching Calais, the rain started, and it was heavier and made difficult driving through Kent and beyond. Glad to make it home actually!!

I hate that drive from Kent in the rain especially if it is dark.

I'll try that again!

No walking for us today.  It's been wet all day.  We did see one short glimpse of sun this afternoon but apart from that it's been dismal and dank.  Tomorrow morning we are forecast rain but that's supposed to clear at lunchtime.  The young and fit members of the family + dogs are going on a 5 mile walk.  The oldies are doing a short walk and will wait in a cafe for the youngsters to return!  That's Plan A so fingers crossed.

Fingers firmly crossed for you Iris.  We had heavy rain all morning, then it suddenly cleared at about 3.30 and the sun shone in a clear blue sky.  Still clear now.

I'll try that again!

waveIt was a dreadful morning so bad that even Shuna did not want to go for a walk.  However it did clear up and by the time of the firework display and bonfire, it was dry with clear skies!
