before I found Lucasz I had a lot of quotes not returned or unreasonably high, I think it was because we have  bad access to the house in somerset so they did not want the job. The first job lucasz did for me he charged me £300 the english builder quoted £1500 for the same job.

Fortunately one of the more reasonable builders got back to me today. He apologized for taking so long but he can also start next week, so I can cancel with the expensive ones.

Good to hear that mike. Val I do hang onto Lucasz even if I have to wait for him to do a job, I wait. He has been offered a lot of work renovating house and even building them, but he says he does not want big jobs he is happy with smaller ones that only take a week or two, he is happy as long as he can feed himself and his wife and pay his bills

Sounds okay to me. I can understand that - as a longer job may mean he has to wait for his pay!
