I hope I can come this year! Will talk to Ruth about transport, or to P about visiting his grandchildren in East Anglia that weekend, or see if there is another way to get there!

Ah well Tracey, there'll be you, another Forumite and me...it could work. I suppose we could do it at mine and have a webcam to the alternate event.....don't think we'd get many as 'day visitors' if we put out invitations though...

Barbara, if you can manage to get anywhere near us (and Husband definitely agrees for us to go), then you're welcome to come with us. Same goes for anyone else who might need a lift if it's convenient for them to get to us, or if we pass near them on our way.
(Sorry Elsa and Tracey, Bulgaria isn't exactly on our route )
learning to love veg…..except celery :-O
If you'd arrange for all the men to wear kilts, Danuta.....real Scottish style....I might even make it....what a temptation... and you're right Sue...it's not on anyone's route is it...

Can I take it, Danny, that double quantities of the ginger biscuits would be in order this year?
Shut up, I'm counting
Mentioned it to Mike today...as in..."darling...what plans have you for 21st July?"
reply..."hmm,nothing much, why?"...
"well it's the CSH get together and I'd really like to go..."
"Ah, well...I've got a golf match the next day, I could stay here and look after the dog"
Me thinks...that'll be a first....him looking after the bloody dog.
he thinks it'll be a bunch of middle aged women chattering ten to the dozen...I said, no, there's middle aged men chattering ten to the dozen too.

I thought this annual meet-up thing was moving round and Joanna had volunteered to host it this year.
Sorry would love to come but not in the UK at that time.
Well there is a field for anyone camping, a caravan maybe if I made hubby clean it up, one flat and a hotel! Anyone up for coming then?
How about mine next year then…I can manage six double and a loft with a balcony and panoramic views that could sleep another two couples, two kitchens and three bathrooms…just need the windows in the 'not so much of a wreck'
There again the local hotel is fifteen pounds per night for a couple…Vodka, gin and the usual spirits at just under five pounds a litre and wine at about five pounds for a three litre wine box…..better come quick before Europe implodes….…
