I could probably pick you up from Northhampton, Simon, if you could get to there?
Thanks for the lovely kind offer but that would be an almost three hour journey including a cross London change via the underground or changing at Coventry and will cost too much, £50 return, and I wouldn't be able to take any smoking equipment

Phew, managed to book into Mrs Noble's for Friday and Saturday nights. Anne Mary is fully booked if anyone was thinking of staying there, and it's difficult to find anywhere else around Newmarket at this stage. I stayed in a nice B&B on Cardigan Street last year, and they are full as well.
I'll be available to help you get things set up on Friday evening if necessary, Danny 🙂
Sorry you aren't coming TA, I would love to meet you!
Thanks for offering to help, Veronica. No doubt there will be last minute scurryings needed. When do you arrive?
Same for you, Janet - what time do you arrive?
Supper at ours at 8 for anybody arriving Fri evening.
We are preparing for the weather - could be stair rods or sunburn. The mud slide may open for the day

Well you can think of us on the 21st July as we have got to drive over four hours to be at the port on the other side of Latvia to collect our alpacas
Danny, really not sure what I have planned yet, there has been talk of a birthday party on sunday for one of the grandkids, which I'd be very happy to miss, but I think I'll be ex-communicated if I do. Hopefully it'll be in the afternoon, so I could still have Saturday with you guys and maybe even stay over - probably in my car - if there's only me then I have plenty of room.
As for arrival, hmm not sure on that one either, I need to do some research, can't remember how long it took last year. Probably arrive just after lunch?
Janet, you do whatever you have to do. There is absolutely no obligation and if your circumstances change then so be it.
I am taking Thu and Fri off work to get the place in order. Time does fly. I remember thinking at one point that we had a whole month to tidy up. Now it's just one week.
Joanna - the alpaca project sounds very exciting indeed. Looking forward to seeing them on your blog.
