Dear Danast,
You have set the bar too high! And you have given that Brightspark personage a swelled head (OK, perhaps she deserves it, but easy up, girl !).
All: You might think that this thread is mainly for those who have grown to know each other over the past six months or so, but this is not so. All are free to join in. We all want to get to know you too. This is not a closed society
Danast:
D = Decisive. She did not wait for mandatory retirement before changing lifestyles. Brave move
A = Accepting of new ideas, as we have seen on here.
N = Naughty, as in winding me up!
A = Authoritarian (well, she was a headmistress after all. Old habits die hard!) but in a really nice and kind manner. I could have bottled it and said "Argylll"
S = Storyteller. Love the cameos from rural Argyll. Keep them coming.
T = Tutor (as opposed to teacher). All her life experiences add immense value to this forum, and long may that continue
Never knowingly underfed
Fantastic Danuta - I think you've done this before!
You deserve a star ......
or two or three or four!!
Darn good at thinking up clever things
And very friendly
Not afraid of work
Unable to resist this forum
Terribly easy to get on with (that's an oxymoron, too !)
Able to deal with most things
(Sorry Danuta - I'm new to this acrostic thing!!)
