Thanks peeps.....spent my birthday with my six year old birthday share little girl that I have known since she was two and a half.....beautiful little bundle......and twenty or so other little children and their mothers.....lovely day.

Orange juice to help down lots of food goodies and superb birthday cake.  Home now and unfortunately ....no alcohol allowed....all to do with the slow release painkillers.  Kidneys and liver doing fine....I'm not so sure that I am......steamsteam...ponderponder

The little smiley that's missing is a birthday cake ….. rubbish, aren't I?  

Our son made my cake for yesterday's get-together, it was a Guinness chocolate cake with a soft white mixture of cream cheese, cream, and icing sugar – the whole thing was meant to resemble a glass of Guinness!

Short black skirts were the uniform Joanna...especially for Chris' benefit.  Black tie for the men...black short skirts for the women unless you speak Russian and Latvian....wink

I don't think the short black skirt will help me get around the problem of not speaking Latvian and Russian though. I've decided that PA to the ambassador has one flaw, it would mean having to travel to Riga every day and I just can't fit that into my schedule - getting from our house to Tartu once a week is bad enough.cheers
