Thankyou, lovely girls - embarassed - hubby bought me a huge bunch of red tulips today. Since living in Holland, tulips are something I look forward to and at the same time reminisce about our wonderful time spent there.

A couple of years ago, I had to have my wedding ring cut off - arthritis had made my knuckle too big to take it off! Today we went into the jewellers to have it reworked so that I can wear it again.

Two little things, but with a message.

Happy Birthday, Val.  I love tulips, too.  Bought some today for next-door neighbour who returns home  tomorrow from longish stay in hospital - I was tempted to keep them as they were so cheerful (yellow and red stripeys), but I did the honourable thing ...  What happened to the Birthday List suggestion?  I seem to have lost the thread on that one (please excuse the pun!).

Gone crazy. Back soon.
