Well, here we are now putting down roots in sunny Wales :). We're in Pentwyn which is quietly just out of the City Centre and we're surrounded by trees and singing birds.

My parents are babysitting my first few steps at growing potted plants, and my Holly and Bay Laurel, my dad grows his own veg so I know the're in good hands.

The only plant we took with us was my strawberry plant, which was a surprise finding in the dirt just in the allyway behind our back gate in Swindon. Best guess is a bird drop, it has the tinest, sweetest strawberries on it and the first one matured this morning 😀 true to form it was lovely. We're staying with our wonderful friends at the moment until we can get a place of our own, I'm dreaming of an actual lawn where I can really start on growing my own food properly.

We're now finally starting to relax and put Swindon and the burglary behind us, Yay!

I hope the sun has been good to everyone else :).

Hey, Sidriss, good to have you back with us and great to know that you've put that nasty experience behind you.  I hope you manage to find your own place very soon so that you can take ownership of your plants again.  That strawberry sounds like a wild one to me, I bet you'll really enjoy them.  Welcome back. I'll try that again!
