…my mate Paul is giving away Kindle copies of his second novel for free TODAY ONLY – I've not finished this one but the first one was a good read, if anyone fancies trying it the link is here - and no, I'm not getting anything out of this other than watching my mate move up the Kindle download charts 🙂

His first novel was very enjoyable and also got very good reviews. Some of those people may be friends of his - he does promote widely in his extensive social circle, but I doubt anyone posted anything that wasn't genuine - I was too lazy to post a review myself, but everyone I know who downloaded the novel (and that was quite a few) thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to starting this new one myself next week when I'm commuting.

Thanks guys - he made it into the Amazon top 100 free downloads yesterday which is really good publicity, and interestingly a whole load of people also paid to download his first novel as well as downloading the free one, so he's a very happy young author right now. 🙂 Please put reviews up on Amazon when you've finished it, I'm going to be good and do that myself this time.

I just bought the Kindle Fire HD, Lyn, (a great little thing) and will be delighted to try your friend's books. It's not free now but at only £1.99 it still seems like a bargain.
