Here's a lovely collection of photos I picked up via Richard Wiseman:

I'm very tempted to dig out some old photos for the next time I'm visiting my parents, and seeing if I can have a go at this.
Ive seen that done before with 'old and new' views of towns etc but never with people's everyday lives. It's a really interesting idea.
I think most photos from my childhood are on slides so I'd have to get them printed out first... I'm sure my Dad's got the photos in a box somewhere - I should probably get some scanned into the computer since I have no photos of me from more than a few years ago!
Visit my blog for food, drink, photography and hamsters.
I would have more difficulty taking the photos in situ as my parents have moved since I was a kid
I have a lot of photos, but most of the places have changed beyond recognition, and my parents have moved. My parents are currently going through old photos to compile albums to give my brothers and me, so I may have even more photos in places that no longer exist later this year.
