I thought I'd share 2 sites that I'm aware of that do their little part to help the world.

The first one helps pets. Its called Freekibble, and the idea is simple. You come on the site and try to answer the trivia question of the day. Right or wrong the site then donates 10 pieces of kibble for animal shelters. The site has provided over 4,000,000 bowls of food since April 2008. If you check it out, be sure to read about Mimi, the site's creator/founder. She's something else!

There is a dog side and a cat side, to be sure to check for the link.



The other one helps people, and is called Freerice. You come on their site and can pick from a variety of topics to answer trivia questions. A correct answer donates 10 grains of rice. You can stay and play for as long as you like. Since October 2007 they have donated 2,099,477,486 grains of rice.

I frequently play free rice, it's rather addictive.
