Sorry but I'm not telling what I weigh and I forgot to stand on the scales this morning, so will give my weight loss for last week, tomorrow. I have eaten nothing I shouldn't have this week. I keep a food diary now. I am so serious about losing two stones before I book the holiday. Target this month is 7 pounds.
However the amount of white wine that has gone down my throat is disgraceful, so we shall see.

All right you lot! It's time to bite the bullet (instead of the doughnut, Val!
) Confession is good for the ummmmm, butt!
I'll start. I weigh 200 big ol' pounds this morning!
You get to convert it to stones, my brain won't do that right now.....
14.28....using my trusty calculator...any takers!!!!!..metric is so much kinder...littler numbers to play with....90.9 kilos sorry....stones and pounds are smaller numbers....argggg...who's idea was this anyway....where's my chocolate bar..

Well, I weighed myself this morning, just out of interest (haven't done that for ages) and not that I'm on any kind of diet at the moment......I'm about 12lbs less than I was a month or two ago. That's come about through illness and lack of interest in cooking and eating, rather than any sensible eating regime, and it's not exactly something I'd recommend as a weight loss tactic!
I've regained my mojo (just hope I don't regain the weight!!!) over the last couple of days and now intend to start healthy eating in earnest......well, thinking about it, at least (one step at a time, lol).
Good luck to everybody.

I liked to think of a kilo as a bag of sugar...well close enough and you have to use the visuals to loose it. I had a chart in the bathroom but I would only weigh myself once a week...didn't want it to become an obsession....I went from 80 kilo to 61 kilos....over the space of 12 months...just kept the target in view....good luck all of you....

I heard it was good to visualise the fat in terms of packs of butter, since it is probably about the same weight, so as the pounds roll off you can visualise the packs of butter you are losing.
Not got off to a good start, didn't even think about this as I had deserts tonight, yes deserts not desert . Anyway I am 10stone 8lbs, so need to aim for a stone at least. There I've done it.
Oh dear, I've just nagged you all on the obesity thread about posting your updates, then just seen this - sorry.
Well no change for me, still 10 and a half stone..but I remember the ww days, and sometimes a reall good week didn;t show till the week after, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my lips off the chocolate (apart from the two choc digestives the other day) - I'd like to lose around 20lb by October.
I didn't weigh myself first thing today, which I meant to, remmebered when I got out of the shower, so there could be a bit of water included (hopefully) - ha ha
Funny how lots of us have these 'stalkers' who seem to shadow us and are lurking.....we catch glimpses of them out of the corners of our eyes now and then. They look suspiciously like us, only a whole lot fatter/lumpier/older/scruffier (or perhaps that's just my one ).
You say you've been away Chris....were you being 'fed up' while you were away?

Not really, I quite often spend a w/e away somewhere and was down in London and yesterday had lunch with 5 old friends down in Sevenoaks so whilst not over indulged I wasn't undernourished either.
And I thought my trousers must be shrinking in the wash !!!!
I have reached an age where my train of thought often leaves the station without me...
Well I stood on the scales this morning and I have lost 1 pound, that is all.
It is not on track but at least it is going down. I know I have been good foodwise, so note to self - cut down the wine drastically this week and see the difference ( I hope )

Friend of mine used to say that it took three weeks to go on if you over indulged and three weeks to come off when you start dieting.....I found it to be about right....
