Oh Jean and Roy, I'm so, so sorry for you both, how terribly upsetting after all the months of work you'd put in, and the love and care and attention you'd lavished on her.  The fact that she was coming back to be near you both, and seemed happy to be there, is proof that she knew she was loved with you.  Bless you both big_hugbig_hug

That is so sad, I'm sorry to hear this terrible recount.

Why do STUPID people do STUPID things, they think they know best but in reality they know jack and ignore the rightful wishes of others.

I have a manager who thinks it is amusing to stand on my toes to see if I have steel toe cap shoes on, It wasn't a requirement at that point just a recommendation. I also suffer from joint  pain in my big toe at times. The first time I asked him not to, after the second time I informed I may have to make a complaint to HR. After the third time I said I may not be able to control the reflexes in my right fist.

I call that bullying and it should be reported.

So sorry to hear about your dog. People are just stupid. Our trainer often has dogs who have been frightened and she spends weeks getting them to trust people again. It is never the dog at fault it is always the human!

What a sad story, Jean & Roy.

Just maddening.

I did something similarly stupid 30 years ago in Dublin when a Christmas castoff pup was tossed over our back garden wall.

We christened him Charlie and got him house trained etc. Lovely dog.

Then one summer day he asked to go out and play on the quiet road in our estate and I stupidly allowed him Two hours later I buried his remains by the side of the nearby dual carriageway.

Never knowingly underfed
