Thanks, MOS, I will think about it when I get home--I am on holiday and not thinking now. This is being enforced by the unpleasant cold I caught from my son.  monster He brought it with him, and I hope that the rest of the family doesn't catch it. (14 of us for a week in one house, an 80 year age span, the youngest is 13.)

Oh 1+1, I can do that even with a cold!

Grrrrh.... monster monster monster....virus attack

I have got a monster stomach attack, sore throat plus a streaming cold......Oh yuck !!

All caught from my builder who came to fix the last few roof tiles on Wednesday; he said to keep away from him, but how.....germs are projected a long way & linger long after people have left.  He said he caught it from his wife......and it came on very fast.

Oh, why don't people keep away from people when they are sick, especially the young, old, etc.

I am not a happy person today....cry

*makes a mental note to sit well back from the screen* eeekbig_laugh

(sorry Nadine, just kidding big_hug)

You're right, of course, if people have something contagious then it's not fair to go places where it can be spread around.  Hope you feel much better very soon....if it came on very quickly, it might just go quickly as well.  Have plenty of hot drinks, a hot water bottle on your tummy might be soothing, and just relax and take care of yourself.  Have a virtual big_hug (best not a real one, hehe wink).

Get well soon, Hattie. It's miserable when people spread their germs around so generously 🙁

Hope you well soon.  big_hug

However in the defence of your builder he obviously had parents like mine.    I was encouraged to share as a child!!  That's always my excuse when I pass my germs on to someone else.

Failing is not a fault, refusing to try is

Thanks for all the hugs.....I slept nearly all day so I just went with it....one of the joys of living alone. It seems to have been good for me as I feel a bit better this morning. At least my stomach feels better & my nose is not running. I'm still very wheezy & I am coughing a lot. I'm taking lots of hot lemon & honey to soothe my throat. wave

Oh you poor thing, how miserable.  Hopefully you're on the mend now. All those comforting cold cures that go down so well in winter don't have the same appeal in summer it seems to me. Rest up, it's the quickest way to get well. big_hug
