Sorry to hear about your accident, you would probably be better off with an exercise bike - a static one!

How would I get the shopping TA?

I'm now managing marathon walks with the dog, over 2000 paces round the field...more when he decides to backtrack and sniff something unpleasant. Also 3 miles across the fields to the shop in the next village and best of all I'm losing a little weight.
My pace increased somewhat after the harvester did it's job and the balers collected the straw.......the muck spreader moved in wafting it's perfume in every direction, but it cleared my airwaves, put hair on my chest and gave me an excuse to bath our once white animal. why do they have to roll in it?

big_laugh I don't know why they do it, Bobby, but we were out for a walk with my mum and her dog one day, when the dog found a rotting carcass of some dead animal in the woods, and promptly (and joyfully) rolled in that.  He stunk to high heaven all the way back to mum's house, where he was hosed down in the garden.

Good thing that the farmers muck spreading doesn't actually put hairs on your chest, else I'd be a gorilla by now  big_laugh

You're doing very well by the sound of things, keep up the good work.

I'd join her on a walk but it's a bit too far for my little hairy legs.

I gave the Nordic Walking a go Thursday, I felt a bit daft at first but I enjoyed it all the same so I will certainly continue and try to shead a bit of weight.

Wonder if I can use the poles with roller skates?

Nothing wrong with good second hand stuff.....our house is filled with preloved good furniture and things.

So you'll soon be 'flying' along then!
