We started out with icy rain this morning but finished with a lovely sunset and feeling quite pleasant at -1C. A tad warmer than Christmas Even when it got down to -15C during the daycheers

frown Oh dear, yet another dreary grey day with mild temperature. It has been raining on & off & it is still breezy but there is hope.....tomorrow we are due for some sun......smile Now that would be a brilliant & welcome start to the New Year.

Have a great 2013 everyone !    magic rose heart big_hug champagne

More of the same - very wet and windy but mild.  Think husband needs to start building an ark.  We have already developed webbed feet.  We did see a very watery goldish orb yesterday for a very brief time.  Really fed up.  Hope the New Year is better than 2012 weatherwise.4

waveWow, the weather is deteriorating rapidly and it wasn't good to start with!!  big_laugh   The wind has risen considerably and the loch is wild.  I cannot see the hills over at Tighnabruaich and it has become very dark.  Glad I am inside.  Poor chickens will either be under the trees or in their coop!!

Ooh, hope you don't have to go anywhere today Danuta, it sounds horrible. Wet and windy here again, Mike has gone off to golf but I expected he'd be back within the hour due to it being cancelled, but it appears not, these golfers are an odd bunch!

wave Guess what........we actually have bright sunshine & a blue cloudless sky !! It is a lot cooler but I don't care about that as, it's easy to put more layers of clothing on, or another blanket on the bed...it's the sunlight I crave & treasure.

Hope you all are getting your share on this 1st day of the New Year !  laugh

waveWe are alternating between sunshine and really heavy squally showers.    Shower time right now and the sea is being whipped up good style!!

Sunny here today, which is so welcome.  I know we're still in the middle of winter, but wish we could have a prolonged period of dryness at least, even if little or no sun, as am so fed up with mud and water ranging from big puddles to small lakes (where none existed before) and roads turned into fast-running streams.
