I've recently come back to this forum after being absent for a long time, for various reasons.
As I type this, there are 65 guests online. Who are these guests, are they registered members, and, if so, why aren't they posting?
How can we expect this lovely forum to keep going (and I sincerely hope it does) if nobody posts? The admins haven't posted or shown any interest for a very long time, where's the incentive for any of us to post if no one else shows any interest either?
This forum has an absolute wealth of hugely helpful and interesting threads and posts, and used to be a friendly, popular, fun place where anybody could get advice and information on virtually any home or garden related subject, and newcomers were welcomed with open arms. Some of us have met up in real life and have become very good friends. Now it seems the majority of 'people' (and I use the term loosely) joining are not even real people, just 'bots' (whatever they are), and if real people do join, they are often only interested in promoting some dodgy website.
If you're a member and 'lurking' - please come out of hiding and post. If you're not a member, but a genuine real life person who doesn't have a hidden agenda - please join up and introduce yourself, we'll be very happy to have you.
PLEASE help to make this forum great again. Otherwise, what's the point of it even being here?
