I have taken my smoking to another level.
Last weekend I smoke roasted some garlic and ginger. This all worked rather well. The garlic tasted fantastic. The ginger didn't take on much smoke flavour but enough to notice, and very pleasant.
During the week I had a brainwave. Using my halogen cooker on its thaw temp setting I dried the garlic and ginger. Using my rather splendid heavy brass pestle and mortar (about a fiver in a charity shop) I ground the garlic and ginger.
I now have two small pots , well 35mm film canisters, of some rather fantastic smoked ginger and garlic powder.
I sprinkled some of the garlic on a curry last night. An all new delight I can tell you.

Have you notified the government about this...if the EU finds out you'll be having to put a notice on your output....remember Simon, 'Smoking kills'....and if not you, maybe the neighbours....
If it's becoming obsessional, maybe you need to see your GP who will be able to give you a referral... ......
