EA has updated the Madden 22 roster for Week 3 to be in line with the performance of Week 2. This week's update did not have any major surprises, but certain notable players got the ratings increase.

Most notable was the two-point rise in Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski's overall. He's now gone from an overall launch rating of 86 to an overall rating of 89 in only two weeks. And honestly, he's deserving of it. Gronk has already recorded 12 receptions, 129 yards, and four touchdowns within the space of two weeks. Gronk is on top form and I'm convinced that this won't be his last season with good reviews.

Another major name that could benefit from an increase in ratings is Kansas City Chiefs strong safety Tyrann Mathieu. Mathieu missed the entire week 1 because of a positive COVID testing He made his season debut on Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens. It was a great debut was with Honey Badger recording two interceptions, one of which he returned for scoring. Mathieu's Awareness and catch ratings have both went up one point to 99 and at 82 respectively. His overall rating now stands at a 96.

The Titans running back Derrick Henry had his ratings revised following his strong performance against the Seattle Seahawks. However, the Titans running back is still at a score of 96 overall. Henry's initial rating was shocking to most fans as they thought he was a top running back in the league. With 182 rushing miles in Week 2, and three touchdowns, he proved his worth. Henry's catching was up two points to 64, but his break tackle dropped to a shocking 92.

Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers halfback) is worth paying attention to. He sustained an injury in his hamstring when playing against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. While injuries aren't usually a element in the player's ratings in Madden 22 it will be fascinating to see Henry to be able to replace McCaffrey as the top back in Madden 22.

The complete list of ratings changes for the week 2 roster update is available on the official Madden 22 website. Are you in agreement with these changes or not? Sound off in the comments below! If you want to know more about can go
