It is syrup in it, but it's called treacle tart, I think ..... very strange !!!!
Dessert pastry, with breadcrumbs soaked in syrup as filling.
You'll probably find many others, Ray and Helle, but this one is as good as any, I would think.
I can't resist them either ....
Next time you have visitors, Danuta, make one!
When you realise how more-ish it is, you won't have to eat it all !!!!!!!!!!
(I'm afraid there are times when I can't resist another piece ...)
