I love 'real' coffee (can't stand most instant brands) but I don't usually drink much so I never invested in a coffee machine. Instead I got one of those Conran cafetiere cups, which works really well.

I've noticed that it can be a bit difficult to find decent ground coffee - when I used to live in Aberystwyth I was only round the corner from a shop which had a huge choice of coffees and they'd grind it fresh for you (can't remember the name of the place at the mo).

Recently I was surprised by Asda's strong roast coffee - it was surprisingly nice for an own brand.

A study led by Dr.Lindsay St.Claire at Bristol University has found ; When it comes to collaborating on stressful tasks caffeine impairs mens performance but boosts woman's . Apparently women tend & befriend whereas men  fight and flee.

Seed catalogues are responsible for more unfulfilled fantasies than the web and playboy combined . (after Michael Perry)

Today I was with a friend for most of the day, helping on the South Oxfordshire Christian Aid walk near Henley.

He doesn't do proper coffee only instant. Far to bitter/acid etc for him. Well I made a real-ground-coffee-lite for him with the Aeropress. He was so impressed he is going to buy one. tea

Found a nice website for coffee, worth a look¦
