Nothing to do with smallholding affairs but worth a mention.

Who remembers that white tin with the dimpled lid that Andrews Liver Salts used to come in? My dad used it as a frequent thirst quencher, especially on hot summer days when making hay or picking blackcurrants medicine

It came to mind a few evenings ago so when I was picking up my regular medical prescription a few days ago, I asked the pharmacist if it was still being made. Indeed it is. Now packaged in "modern" plastic containers, nothing like the old tins. £3.49 for the smaller of the two sizes on offer. I may be tempted come the summer!

And Berocca tablets I always thought were a great start to a series of cures when waking with a hangover. I saw them for sale in Wilkos the other day @ £4.65 (!!). Cleverly positioned right beside that display were Wilko's own brand version for about £1.50 from memory. I bought those. Luvverly cheers

I use (when I remember) Boots own brand multi-vitamins, three for the price of two tubes.

I'll try that again!

I buy shop's own berocca, all much cheaper than the 'official' brand.

if I can keep it down in the morning after a good night, then I get up...if I can't, then it's back to bed. Long time since I've needed to go back to bed though....not really a big drinker nowadays.
