We used to drink quite a lot of wine just a few short years ago. I guess, like everything else, our tastes come and go in phases.
Fiona's sister brought us three bottles of a gorgeous Rioja recently. They lasted right through three family meals with her mum over a period of months. That would not have happened back then. Wine had a half life of a couple of bottles per day.
This one is really good and worth investing in a case or two when in funds.
You can buy it from Tesco wine (online only) and other outlets, but Tesco seem to be the cheapest. About £6 to £7.

If you enjoy a smooth rich red then you will love this.
Never knowingly underfed
I've found rather a nice Merlot at two leva forty for two litres....that's fifty five pence a litre or thereabouts...rude not to....

Well, Sue, it figures.
Rosé is pink and the bubbles are blonde
Toni, I think most any wine can be sharp - especially ones like Cote du Rhone for example, or Riojas etc. Same goes for whites. You never know until you get it home and open it.
The Berberana is smooth as silk and tasty as 'eck.
Take it from one who has tried many a "budget" red.
Never knowingly underfed
Not as 'Budget' as mine¦.I think the next 'get-together' should be in BG¦.
