Possably but i throw any old thing in still comes out the same was thinking about doing cider i don't like it but will do some anyway but im running out of contaners fast.
The Home Farmer September issue has an article on cider making
That mag looks v interesting, Joanna. I think we may subscribe to it, along with Kitchen Garden.
We invited a UK (Devon / Dorset) online homebrew drinks company to come along and sponsor this section and provide expert knowledge in exchange for enhancing their (basically non existant) online profile. They did not even bother to reply. We will offer it to another organisastion. It woulde be really great to have expert opinion on tap. And I, too, want to make cider but do not know where to start.
Never knowingly underfed
I've made cider but only using bought juices, with additional flavours added. I'm also a member of a homebrew forum (homewinemaking.co.uk/forum/YaBB.pl) and I expect there'll be discussions on cider presses and things like that if you go there and do a search.
If anyone is wanting to make small batches using shop bought juices then I will gladly share my experience
