Good to see you again Andy, but what is a goft of a garlic?

It has a ring to it, though - a goft of garlic - yep, I like that!

Yes we are, Danuta - weather is warming up, too ...... predicted 29 degrees for the next two days. Just hope the weather holds as my Mum, brother and his wife and my cousin and her husband are all arriving next weekend for a short break.

Thanks again, Danuta, for your gift - I noticed who put in the curry recipes ...... whistle

I'll have a closer look when I'm back home. big_hug

If it's the same book that I got, then it has some wonderful recipes, don't know how to pronounce the name of the book though Danuta, could you do like they do in dictionaries, where it is spelt out in brackets as you would say it)

I got my garlic from my friend this year. The garlic she grows has a pinky tone to it and no idea what type but it seems to have grown well this last year as the cloves are huge. At least I know this sort are hardy as they weathered the winter last year under a metre of snow.cheers
