thought i'd give it a go at growing some (kaillan, choi sum and
something with an unknown name!) started off the seedlings and week ago,
pricked out a couple days later in modules and now sitting in spare
W-facing unheated bedroom. they're getting a bit leggy and am worried
about the temp and lighting conditions of their environment. do you
think i should move them out to my unheated plastic walk-in greenhouse
(roof has lots of holes in due to the non-durability of the plastic as
it's 18mths old now). they're covered with plastic lids as to provide a
little warmth and humidity for them, but i'm not sure whether this is
making them worse. correct me if anyone knows whether putting them
outside will have 'toughen' them up more in the way where their stems
will thicken, hence they'll be less likely be searching for the
light...?
