embarassed  Sorry Sue, wild Garlic...

I thought that they all died off in the winter before last but they are plucky little things and have re-appeared, about three metres from where they were last...

I'll try that again!

I know what you mean, I frequently come across words that are new to me when reading.

I'll try that again!

Good day in the garden, lots of watering, then planting up bedding plants and herbs. Moved rhubarb in to a big pot, now it has room to grow, just need to set up a wigwam for the sweet peas. Repotted tomato plants, having to take thier chances outside until I have some sort of shelter for them rigged up.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

Garden too waterlogged after all the rain so just pulled a few weeds and sprinkled some grass seed. Violets have taken over part of the lawn and, as always, there are countless dandelions sprouting!

Home is where the heart is.

Cut the grass today, also got the trimmer and hedge trimmer out. I put the gravel in the back garden on freecycle saying if anyone wanted to dig it up they could have it, someone took 12 bags on Friday, and a couple took a load today, they are coming back for more tomorrow

Never give up Tomorrow is another day.

More weeding but managed to plant the tomato plants, the basil and the red pepper. Still more to do tomorrow but that will be the major part done. Now it just remains to keep them watered and hope for the best!

Something we rarely do - we are actually going to sit in the garden this afternoon.  Taking a break from the heavy chores that have been going on over the last couple of weeks.

Got the eggplants and swiss chard in the ground in between showers today.  Still have room for a few more plants so another visit to the garden centre is called for.  Potatoes are showing green shoots so they are well on their way.
