You're welcome, Aly.

Well done Danuta.  And you're right, that butternut squash curry is yum!

I am looking forward to the butternut curry once the squashes are back in the shops. It is all seasonal stuff here.

I've done those before, Rob, with sliced sausage, bacon, mushrooms, cheese - like mini quiches without the pastry.

Hope everyone goes well on the diet.....I'm sticking to it(!!) even while we're away, but having a day off on Saturday.

wave  Oh I do not feel good this morning. I had a good night's sleep,  ( apart from having to get up to the loo twice!!!!!!)  but woke up headachy and I had to drag myself out with the dogs.  But as I sit here sipping my black decaf coffee, I have to remember this is doing me good!!!!!!  big_laugh

Oh Danuta, I do hope that you feel better soon.  Is it the lack of caffeine that's making you feel unwell?

I'll try that again!

Take care of yourself Danuta, detox diets can have a profound effect on our systems.  Even on my gentle preparation for the real thing I noticed that I feel very dizzy sometimes & have to sit down fast.

I hope you are drinking large amounts of water. Sue said to drink lots.

So far I have given up wheat products, all biscuits, cakes,ice-cream etc., milk in cooking (don't drink the stuff anyway), nearly all alcohol, butter, cheese, & I am only drinking decaf tea & coffee. I am day  by day cutting back on the amount of sugar in my decaf coffee ( I normally drink strong black coffee with sugar & so I am finding this the hardest thing to deal with).

I hope you feel a lot better soon.......big_hug + heart

I think gradual reduction is the best way. I feel tired and occasionally dizzy probably due to sugar reduction. Also felt quite sick yesterday. Managed 10km walk this morning though.

wave  Wow, what a difference a day makes. ( as they say!!)  I feel so much better this morning.  I wouldn't quite say full of life and energy but definitely heading in that direction.  No headache this morning. Have not felt hungry yet and am coping with the diet well.  Not needed any snacks at all.  ( yet!!   big_laugh )

Yippee!!!!!

That is good news. I start properly tomorrow as visitors leaving mid morning. Am planning meals now. My biggest challenge will be breakfast, but as it is only for 5 days I will prepare ahead some rice/quinoa mixes that can be zapped in the microwave for a quick breakie. A couple of days I will have omlette.

Danast, I feel your pain.  I had major headaches and fatigue the first three days, this is now down to a dull headache and neck/back pain.  Plus a lot of overnight trips to the loo... however, since Monday I am down 3kg/6lbs so the results are definitely worth it.

Keep it up!
