Friday, Day 25 of Phase 2:

Breakfast: A banana & a rice-cake.

Lunch: Slices of tongue with tomato & basil salad. Strawberries afterwards.

Dinner: A large piece of cod cooked with grated ginger, spring onions, seasoned with Marigold vegetable bouillon powder, clementine juice & olive oil. I had a large helping of spinach with it.

[It was so tasty, I had run out of lime juice so grabbed an elderly clementine, I think I preferred it. I try to eat fish at least twice a week but the prices are so high nowadays. This cod was a special, 20% off from Ocado.]

I had a glass of rose with it & a peach afterwards.

Saturday, Day 26 of Phase 2:

Breakfast:  Strawberries

Lunch: Slow roasted chicken cooked with lots of garlic, grated root ginger, rosemary, savory. I stuffed the inside with clementines so it made it's own gravy.I added some over-ripe cherry tomatoes near the end of cooking. I had steamed broccoli, mange-tout peas & runner beans with it & a peach afterwards.

Supper: A little cold chicken & a small salad, with a few strawberries afterwards. Glass of rose wine.

waveGood for you Danuta, a stone is great news. It felt very lonely being the only one posting their menus. I know Rob does occasionally but he is busy with his house move etc, as is Sue with all her packing up etc.

Oh well done Danuta, that's brilliant! welldone

Sorry girls for not posting (or keeping to the diet!) embarassed, I'm just too busy to concentrate on it.  Although I shall be very glad to get back to it, once we've settled into the new house, as my gut is protesting about the snatched, quick and sometimes not very suitable meals we've been having recently.....ponder

At least I'm trying to be good today....had sugar-and-additive-free brown rice puffs with lactofree milk for breakfast, pork steak with a tray of oven-roasted Mediterranean veggies coming up for lunch.  No idea what I'll have for my tea - probably a lump of cheese, olives and some rice crackers.

I shall look forward to welcoming you back, Danuta, I have felt rather lonely posting everyday.

Friday: Day 32 of Phase 2:

Breakfast:  1 banana & a ricecake.

Lunch:  Cold sliced tongue with a tomato & spring onion salad. (I did miss not being able to have any chutney with it). frown

Dinner:  A fresh dressed crab with a large mixed salad & a slice of wholemeal seedy bread.  This was so good. I was tempted to eat more bread but resisted !! Instead I had a big bowlful of strawberries. Oh I nearly forgot, I had a glass of rose wine.  laugh

These menu's do sound good Nadine, breakfasts seem a bit sparse though, is this through choice or diet plan?

No, it's just me, I have problems eating food in the first part of the morning, I can't face it till at least 11am.  I am more of a brunch person.  I can, just, face fresh fruit & have recently found rice cakes will not make me feel sick if I eat them early in the day. However I tend to have quite an early lunch.
