I am reading a very interesting Book, by Doris Grant, she, who invented, I think, the 'no Knead Loaf'. As am at the Moment trying to improve my Health, any which way I can. The Book , is called 'Your Daily Food' Recipe for Survival. Think you will really be interested in it, Aly. Have sent for some Organic Stone Ground Flour, to have a go at the Loaf, and some Mung Beans to Sprout, have done this before, but like everything else, you don't keep it up, unless you are a Health Freak, but mean to be more aware of what I am putting in my Mouth now.
Will have a look Tina. My main thing is trying to keep chemical free by making as much as I can myself. I am sure it has made a difference. At the age of 60 I have no regular medication, and rarely need a doctor! Long may that continue!

I'll have a look for that book too, Tina, it sounds interesting. I buy lots of books on Amazon, mostly second hand, they're good value.
I firmly believe what we eat has a huge impact on our health. For example, if I eat too much bread (or any baked goods), it not only bloats my stomach but also gives me a puffy face, makes my joints ache badly and makes me feel very weary. If I eat no bread or cake for a couple of days, all those symptoms disappear, and I also wee for England! (meaning the wheat makes me retain water as well).

That is really interesting Sue. I said to my Daughter this Morning, have not had a sore Stomach, since I cut out Bread and Cakes, and she could not believe the difference in my Legs Today, had a Slice of Leerdammer Cheese on a Ryvita for Breakfast, a Cup of Homemade Veggie Soup, and a Dish of Homemade Yogurt with Gooseberries, for Lunch, not felt the need for Bread, and certainly not hungry, must stress am not Dieting, just eating differently. Making a roast Dinner, and looking forward to it.
