Very disappointed at the lack of cherries this year. I normally do glacé too, bit of a faff to make. I shall shortly be doing chocolate rum cherries. Glacé cherries in a jar, pour on dark rum and leave a few weeks until I need to soak the fruit for anniversary cake. Drain off rum and soak cake fruit in it then coat the rum soaked cherries in dark chocolate, pack away for a special treat. Yum!
