Danny, I don't have Facebook or Photobucket accounts, so I have been using Posterous to post my pics.

Now that Twitter has taken over Posterous, the whole thing has gone down the pan (!) - as I knew it would! steam

I see that along the top of this post, there is an icon to 'post' from Word - this is only text, I presume? Is it possible to have that to include pics, too?

(I don't mean NOW - as I know you have your hands full, but I'm just asking if that is a possibility... laugh )

Here, have one yourself medicine.....

Val, Photobucket is not difficult to use and you can make your account private and just post individual pictures from your account.  It is not nasty at all.

I'll try that again!

I have a Drop-box account which has a public folder. Sometime I stick a photo in there, then copy the public link (via right click copy public link) and use that  as the pic URL.

PM me your email address and I'll send you a dropbox invite. Doing this gets me a little extra space allocated to my account for each invite taken up  smile

Hi Val,

No, that option is only to paste text into your post from a Word doc. It strips out all of Word's fancy doodahs and pastes plain text.

We decided at the outset not to host piccies on our server simply because of the space they would take up over time and because of the bloat they would add to our site backups.

Toni's and Simon's ideas are sound.

Thanks Danny for taking the time to respond " you must be quite cheesed off with all this hassle by now.

I know I would be.

It is very frustrating for you.
