Have found the info on setting point using the thermometer method.

Have a look at:

Apparently:

  • Jelly has a setting point of 104 degrees Celsius
  • Jam has a setting point of 105 degrees Celsius

    • Now off to get a jam thermometer !!

    I have reached an age where my train of thought often leaves the station without me...

    That's an interesting discovery - I wonder why the setting point isn't the same on both .....?
