Yes, please get yourself checked out, Jan.

It's important - not only to find out the cause, but to reassure yourself that there's nowt going on! big_hug

Jan - when I had my funny turn it was similar to yours but without the head ache. It started with a pulse throbbing in my neck - then my ear and head felt like there was a huge pressure building up and like my head was going to explode. It was early hours of the morning so Rich called 111 and after they did all the usual questions they sent an ambulance around which sent my pulse racing even faster. Long story short the paramedics tried to stabilise my heart rate but in the end took me to A & E where I was rigged up to the monitors and kept in overnight. They let me go in the morning with beta blockers and an appointment to see the heart specialist. It was a worrying time for a while but luckily nothing serious. It has re-occurred a couple of times since but nowhere near as bad and I have tablets I can take when it returns - at least I don't need them all the time. Losing weight was all part of this - it didn't cause it but it didn't help either. They think it can be triggered by alcohol, caffeine and chocolate....gee thanks guys! so I gave them all up immediately. I have been given the wrong coffee on the odd occasion and I definitely get a few flutters and higher heart rate so it must be all connected.

You should ask for an emergency appointment on the day - don't get put off. People with a few sniffles get them because they shout loudest. If it happens again just get yourself to A & E - don't take risks, it's probably nothing but we are not the experts now are we?

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

I know you are all right, but I hate going to the docs, had another this morning for no reason at all, pounding at the back of my head to begin with, and then moved around to the front, it may have done this previously and I'd not taken note. Anadins have lessened it, which is a bit like Wednesday where I took Max strength cold relief every few hours, I finish the dog/house sitting in a few hours, so will ring docs on Monday, even if it's just a simple sinus infection, I need some good pain relief for it, as well as possibly antibiotics to clear it up. Whoops were a bit off topic- I can feel the spork approaching

Ok ladies, I'll ring first thing in the morning...problem is, when I'm not having one, I feel ok.

wave Jan, I can only echo what everyone else has said.  Please do phone the doctor.  It is better to get these things checked.  And it will stop us all worrying too!  big_hug

Oh dear Jan that sounds horrible - don't look on internet - go to see your doctor. Could it be raised blood pressure when you exert yourself that gives you the head ache? A couple of years ago I kept experiencing increased heart beats and feeling breathless - bit like a panic attack but they mostly only occurred when I was totally relaxed or laying down in bed. They put me on ECG's and did a whole raft of tests but it took a specialist to actually pinpoint it. The culprit was caffeine!! I seem to have become intolerant to it as it only takes a very small amount to set me off. So now I just make sure I don't have it at all and I rarely get the symptoms - but I can tell you I was very worried at the time and thought it must be my heart.

Get checked out and put your mind to rest. smile

The Aussiedoodle dogs from this east coast breeder are priced separately, and you will need to contact the owner to discuss the cost. There is a waiting list for which you must pay a deposit. let's have a look: https://aussiedoodlemoon.com/aussiedoodle-breeders-near-me/
