You and your complex birds Mike.  Please, let us not start on this for a week or two more?

I'll try that again!

I wasn't going to make it myself - Lidl do one for a tenner! Or Aldi do a posh version with partridge for twice that.

we usually believe it or not have steak and chips, but OH has relented this year as one of the guests is not family ie our kids or his mum, so we are having turkey. I should mention he does not like that holiday. See TA not the C wordrunawayrunawayrunawayrunaway

I've noticed we have a new thread with someone selling c******** spam err, I mean beef... although he looks a bit more legitimate than most of the advertisers who post here.

I chose my forum name for a bit of a joke. I don't think there was an active Bob on the forum when I joined, and we still had our Bobquail in the garden (he has since passed on, sadly). Juanita II (Mrs Bob) is still alive and clucking though.

Mike has already requested a 3 bird roast too this year, we had the Aldi one last year at it was surprisingly good, the only bit I really remember is to not bother adding the sticky glaze that you get with it.

My Mum has had a very long term wish to have Christmas Day at a nice restaurant. This year we are going to the Cotswold Lodge Hotel  just off the center of Oxford at the far end of St Giles)
