Buttery mashed parsnips are good too.  Will you have gravy with it?

I'll try that again!

I made curries last night and there is enough for tonight too.  Also I made some minestrone soup today with rabbit stock, which is quite good.  Notice, it is not very good, just quite good - I may have to doctor it in some way.

Reheated broccoli and roast vegetable soup. It was okay but we had eaten too many chocolate spread sandwiches during English lessons to have anything else. Doh

Does chocolate spread equate to Nutella? I just tried smearing it on some flapjack bars...well it needed using up, honest Smile

It was supposed to be a snack but they were going to waste, seemed rude to refuse. The soup was definitely a good way of using up a roast dinnerCheers

Suz Nutella does equal chocolate spread.

BS, I think we knew what you meant!  I hope Danuta doesn't faint from hunger.

I'm not cooking, I'm off to Fiona and Danny's to see if there is any fish pie left.  Whistle

I'll try that again!

I am still welded to my seat after gardening and G has phoned for pizza. I could sleep, but hopefully Tea will wake me up for food.

So the planned taco dinner isn't happening, and I'll be cooking something tomorrow with the mince. Possibly stew for Monday. Does anyone else get guilty when they order take away in spite of there being plenty of food in the house?

No, never.  Especially in view of your gardening exploits, relax and enjoy the take-out; you are not wasting food - just delaying the cooking for a while.  Big_Hug

I'll try that again!

I know the feeling Shereen, although we tend to go to the local restaurant or bakery - they are the only places that do takeaways around here anyway so no point, may as well eat there and then no washing up either Cheers
