Hello Green Rosie
just want to say hi and congratulations on getting to live in France .we did have aspirations ourselves but we are having a hard time with the language especially the written side ,we had a little hideaway near perpignan for a few years and hopes of ending up there . perhaps if we master the language we may yet do it .we do pop over regular to practice (well that's our excuse) my other half does culinary french being in the trade so i tend to bow to her ability to order stuff . hope it all goes well with the market buisness ,hope to read more soon .
yours MOS xx.

Hi shelly
just to say hello. as with green rosie we are green with envey at your chance of living the dream it sounds idilic , it will be hard to make it work no doubt to make it all fit together .but we hope the end result makes it your dream come true best of luck and keep us infirmed .even the hard bits make it real for us less fortunate ones stuck in our ruts , we can live the dream with you if you let us,
yours MOS xx

thats why ime nervous about the written french you could sign up for anything when its all in foreign, but stick it out and when the sun shines it will all be forgotten
,and we will all be envious .i must admit when we drove through france on many ocasions it was well past toulouse before the heat of the south hit us. we noticed as we had no air con and the noise with the windows open on our car was painfull .MOS .xx

Well, I will tell you one little known fact
10 degrees here feels like it is bleeding freezing. What a cold day it has been
I did offer to knit you something a while ago - you see, you should've accepted my offer ....

Yeah, BS, but you got my measurements wrong.
Let's do this privately, if you don't mind
Never knowingly underfed
MOS - don't let the French language thing worry you too much - it's amazing how you can get by and it is never too late to learn. My OH doesn't speak much but he understands a lot and has perfected the art of sign language. BUT, like Shelley said, it's not always as idyllic as it seems. I certainly work harder now than when I was in the UK but it is the type of work I want to do and get no better feeling than when we sit down as a family to eat a meal of all our own produce. It's such a great life for the boys too - I open the door and of they go ......
Hello Fiano60 and Shareen. Fiano60 - have you remembered where your Dad lives? Let's hope it's warmer than here
shelley said: Just wish the good weather would return - around 10 degrees, wet and cold here today; not at all what I signed up for on moving to Toulouse!
You can keep the cold, Shelley - I've already got that (there was ice on the water buckets this morning) but we could do with some of your rain. We 've hardly had any for 8 weeks and coupled with the cold nothing is growing - veg or grass for the sheep.
