TA, does Danny know where you really live – a few weeks ago, he thought it was Wales (the water company issue) .. Confused ?

Ah, bless !!!  Big_Hug

I have the feeling that 'Jografy' (Terry Pratchett) is not his strong point.  I think I'm closer to Danny and Fiona than I am to Simon.

Now, where did my reply to Kate go?  I don't think I spannered it.  I think I said, Kate, that I agree with yourcomment that it is a difficult county.  But it was a while ago so I could be wrong.Doh

I'll try that again!

Oh goodness me.

Barks, Berks, Harts, Herts - I, being a foreigner on these shores, surely do get muddled up. Not to mention Noton, Soton and Nothingon, or is that last one Nottingham? Laugh

I do live a simple address like County Durham. Now, that I can understand!

I quite agree Danny.  Now how simple is Argyll?  Oh hang on it should really be Argyll and Bute!   Doh

Danast, I love the name "Argyll and Bute". It sounds so romantic.

Newmarket is okay, isn't it?   Smile

But where on earth did Salop come from?

Confused

WOW! My intro topic seems to have become the hottest topic here, and on UK geography Laugh

I want to know how North Hamptonshire becomes North Hants, and Hampshire becomes Hants.

Can you see that it has changed?  Sometimes it works quicker if you refresh the page.  We can hardly see you now though.

I'll try that again!

Didn't get the recipe, but  it was  a basic red Thai curry using Mae Ploy red Thai Curry paste with the afore mentioned ingredients.

We started with some steamed Pork buns. Very odd, like eating heavy clouds... Have you ever had your buns steamed 🙂

Oh I do love steamed pork buns, double for the ones with char sui pork in them. I used to buy the frozen ones from the Oriental supermarket, but I can't get to it easily these days.
