Just spent the last hour looking at the first 20 pages of the hello thread! So many who looked in told us about themselves then disappeared. From all parts of the globe! I have only been here since last October! Seems longer in a nice way!

So it looks like I joined the day before you Janet, but I was so wimpy that I didn't post anything for a couple of years. I was going through hell at the time & had lost all the confidence I ever had. Now I happily chat away & don't stop typing....!! Congratulations to all of you who stuck with it. Forums like this are all the same with a core of regulars and then the hundreds who pop in once or twice and disappear. It's just the nature of the medium. I am really happy if we pick up two or three good and regular contributors every year now.

I do remember the first lady who signed up. She had problems with her password smile

Late 2009 seemed to be a good time to join since I joined in december of that year. I had been a semi regular reader of Fiona's blog and was surprised to find that a forum had appeared without me noticing.
