Well, that didn't go quite as expected
Hi Brightspark I'm afraid no picture just now as I can't work dropfish or snapbox and the like.
TA we conversed on several subjects, not least of all elderberry syrup.
I think Ambersparkle I dropped off the radar before you joined or around the same time.
Been caught up with building my own house for the wife and tater tots, gave up the allotment and started growing veg at home. We're now more in the country so I'm able to spend more time foraging. We've got very carried away with home brewing and have a lot of different wines on the go.
How have you guys been anyway?

Thank you all, it's good to be back.
Photobucket that's the one, can't work that either.
The house stinks of elderberries at the moment and there's quite a chorus of blip, blop, bloimp in the boiler room. We decided to build in room big enough for the boiler, hot water tank and electric box so that it could have shelves and provide a specific place for fermentation. It was the first room completed surprisingly!
There's elderflower, sloe, elderberry, meadowsweet, courgette, rhubarb and dandelion. The rhubarb is crystal clear and if last year is anything to go by, will be a lovely slightly dry sparkling wine ready to drink at Christmas. Should I move this topic to a different forum or is it ok to rattle on here?
The garden has courgettes going wild, a whole pile of parsnips, carrots doing well, the biggest beets I've ever grown, spuds and loads more including, strictly for brewing you understand, marrow. I've convinced Mrs Tim that boiling a marrow and trying to pass it off as food just doesn't work. Turn it into rum.

You're fine leaving it here.
Do you simply not know how to upload from Photobucket? There is a tutorial on the forum - use the search facility. It really is quite easy.
Those wines sound interesting, especially the Meadowsweet one, I love the smell of that when in flower.
Just remembered - to get a picture in your profile, you have to get the picture uploaded to Gravatar and then link from there, whilst in your profile section. Good luck!
I'll try that again!
