Hi Everybody
I'm Andy, found the site whilst looking for recipes and ideas of what to do with the glut of beans we have this year (our first).
We don't have a smallholding, just an Allotment and back garden turned over to fruit and veg production.

That should teach you Val.....and welcome Andy....you do seem a busy boy but maybe she's got a 'look' that must be obeyed without the need for accompanying violence.
Don't get 'twitched' if you get quotes shredded and rejigged...There are one or two on here that do that but I won't mention any names.... but I'm sure the others will tell you....

What type of Tomatoes did you grow Andy? I grew a new to me Tomato this year, Elegance, it has a wonderful flavor. I usually grow Shirley, as it is consistant good cropper with a good flavor. I thought I was doing well with different veg, but you beat me hands down. Do you brew your own Mead? cheers, Tina.

I only had Mead once, did not like it. Did you not plant the Tomatoes? I like to know the name of everything, then I know for following years what to expect from them. The only ones I do not know the name of are the one Ibought for ten p, and the one my brother bought me, which was supposed to be a Bush type Gardeners Delight, but which has turned into a giant that has taken over the Greenhouse, Blurdy nuisance!

Ah! I see, she who must be obeyed, is the one who will know. I am growing mine in a Greenhouse of course, not much chance of ripening Tomatoes outside in this part of Scotland. Apart from everything else, we have the east coast wind straight off the North Sea, and, I live on top of a Hill, which is the blowiest place in Town, in fact am not even in Town but like the last outpost, then it,s open country, and Imean open! Tina.
