Hi Danast it probably is , but trying to get the cable back through the adjuster and the lid past the retaining clip through the spring and locate in the concentric double drilled retaining slot ,will certainly push you to the brink, especially if your fingers are cold and the rain is dripping down your backAngryoh the joys of the great British motorcycleDohall things considered danast you are probably better off not knowing Laughthat's probably why i cant get going in the morning till my arthritis warms up ,so just like an old BSA really LaughLaughLaughCryWhistleDohRoll_EyesDevil

Did you know MOS that you can get cream for a BSA.....it's sitting on those button seats that does it.  SteamSteam

I used to do pillion on a AJS 500 twin.....which is still running today so I believe the last time it was dug out of the garage.  Not too comfy may I add    Big_LaughBig_Laugh

Don't - you two ........ I haven't yet sat on hubby's bikes - he has only recently finished rebuilding them. Now you two are putting me off even getting on them!  Big_Laugh

Even though, with three older brothers with motorcycles, I was a pillion passenger from aged 11.

Indeed, MOS, those memories are deeply entrenched - wonderful times, meeting wonderful people, and travelling through wonderful countries. My parents must have been really worried, but hey, we've come through it all, and lived to tell the tale. Ok

In fact, that is where I met hubby, at a motorcycle club - I was 17 and he was 18, and in two weeks time, we celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, so can't be all bad.

Now I don't normally delve into people's business....but...how many husbands have you had if it's not a rude question....and if you don't want to tell me that's quite alright....it's just ....the way that it comes over on the blog...well....Big_Laugh

Big_Laugh No big deal, just the two of them, first in 1966 lasted 11 months, second in 1972 lasted 20 years.  Still friends with NO. 2, he's my handyman and lives in the same road.

I'll try that again!

SOUTH HARROW MOTORCYCLE CLUB?

You didn't by any chance attend any of the South Harrow Odeon's Hammer Horror double bills?

Mods on one side of the stalls, bikers the other. Everyone else in the middle.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/

Wow - so has the anniversary been celebrated, Val?

If so, what did you guys do to mark the occasion? (sorry if I missed a vital post)

Never knowingly underfed

Yep, fraid so, Danny - these things have a habit of coming round again, and again - so fast !!!!

Funny you should ask that question .... our offspring have been trying to organise something, but our calendar is so full atm, that we decided we would put it off until such time that we can celebrate with all the family.
