I used to be described by friends as an Adrenalin junky and a collector of experiences., but now im growing up and want a simple family life going back in time rearing and growing wholesome safe foods and enjoying real quality of life living on the land. Live and let live....if only!
im looking tofind other like minded people and share my blog with them
piginmudselfsufficiency.blogspot.com as we experiment and trying to provide for ourselves as we move away from the normal world!!!
hey .... hello every one and thanks for welcoming me, i know its a bit of a late reply 11 mnths later, but i could blame living in the welsh hills and internet being real slow..... but honestly I only just fathamed out my user name and log in details....lol , its been an amaizing year, next year we...ooops no this new year we are going to really be totally reliant on our farm for everything we can... i'm sure hard times are going to hit very hard this year, and everyday i 'm glad we have this land that we can support our sleves on, we are the luccky ones and no longer the wierdos that play at self sufficiency up on the hill on that funny farm...lol.... i predict that soon the neighbours will be popping round to barter goods... i already to swaps and trade with my solicitors, and planning advisers in pork and bacon, so theres hope for civilisation.... its the ony way forward, I have also decided to try and make some money writting up our exploits and sending it in to magazines... as are madness on the hill is a little unusual... see what you think and let me know.....
Welcome Heidi from a formerish adrenalin junkie too!
I totally agree with you about the existing hard times and even harder times coming in the future. Like you, I count myself lucky that we have already set up a lot in place to help us combat the effects. Now I'm pulling every stop out to develop our home production further.
Off now to check out your blog!
Dead center they say but a little place called La Carroux which is very near the village of Saint Hiliare en Lignieres. I have tried to find out more about my family but it's difficult you just go to ask a relative and pop they go and die on you. My son and I used to deliver to Nestle everyday. A realy nice part fo Britian is Wilstshire. Sorry for delay was a aniversair last night, a family that have been so kind to us.
