For two years we have struggled with two small excitable dogs (Bichon freis X and a Chihuahua Bichon) cross)

JoJo and LuckyImage Enlarger

Trouble was they were on individual stretch leads and always managed to tie us up, chasing anything at random, a genuine pain.
So I bought a twin lead. Now they walk calmly side by side, no pulling and best of all I have one hand free for my stick. A worthwhile investment.

I have always found it safer to have no dogs!  smug

I'll try that again!

When my two dogs came to live with me five years ago as rescues, I put them on a twin lead to calm the really nervous one. It worked a treat. My sister has never taken the hint and is constantly entwined by her two boisterous pugs as we saunter up the road easily! Thanks for sharing 🙂
