Where's the "nod and a wink" emoticon?

wink

Janet, if you witnessed the loving care and attention that I lavish upon the invalid, you would not consider asking that question.

Then again, I do have a brain in my head big_laugh

Although I did not feel very clever yesterday evening when I slipped coming down stairs and landed on the base of my spine. Luckily, no cracked rib this time. I can't imagine how we would cope if both of us were laid up. doh

Thank you for all your good wishes!!

Danny is a very good nurse and an excellent negotiator - he just asked for a tot of vodka in return for making me a fresh hottie smile

Sorry, Babe, the rate has changed. The healthy ones who can run up and down stairs require a conversion rate of 3:1 whistle

Your bottle of vodka now has a very short half life! eeek

And the price is going up by the day. big_laugh big_laugh

I think it is winter that causes all the accidents and illnesses. Gloomy light and cold weather. Maybe we should all have stairlifts installed then you could carry the tot of whatever safely!

How is Fiona coping, still confined to bed?  She must be so fed up, flu/rib!!  Roll on better weather all round and better health.

Fiona, she is simply feeling ill, probably from the remains of the infection plus the effects of antibiotics and painkillers. So she is not yet at the bored/fretting stage.

Still requesting just soup or boiled eggs for supper.

Thanks for asking.
